Mark completed a traineeship in our local MP’s electorate office which has provided Mark with some vital life and work skills that will help him in his future endeavours. During this time, he worked as part of a small team and was able to fit in very well. He has an enthusiasm to learn and took on additional study whilst on his traineeship.

Mark has embraced a lot of extra responsibilities both within his role at Gibbs Auto Electrical and as a senior firefighter with the Monash CFS. He has an ability to communicate with customers to explain all aspects of the tasks required before and after the job. He has proven to be a valuable contributor to his employer’s business and a high achiever.

Chernoa completed Year 12 at Loxton High School in 2016. During this time, she commenced a School Based Apprenticeship as an Apprentice Hairdresser with Cindy’s Hair and Beauty in Berri. Chernoa has been described as being very dedicated to her training and is advancing very quickly with her studies. She loves the creativity in her work and the opportunity to make people feel beautiful and confident.

Braydon completed Year 12 at Renmark High School in 2016. He commenced a School Based Apprenticeship with G J Dix and Sons Pty Ltd in Renmark undertaking Certificate 3 in Engineering (Mechanical). Braydon is described as demonstrating outstanding skills, he loves the variety of his work and looks forward to his career in Engineering.

Tayla completed Year 11 at Glossop High School in 2016, while also doing a School Based Traineeship in Individual Support at Bonney Lodge Nursing Home. Tayla sees her traineeship as an integral step towards achieving her goal to become a Registered Nurse and Midwife. Tayla is described a natural in dealing with people with excellent communication skills and drive.

Emma has completed Year 12 at Waikerie High School in 2016. She has been undertaking a School Based Traineeship in Hospitality with Illalangi Gourmet Foods in Waikerie. Emma has been very involved with her school community through sporting events, as Secretary of the SRC and Randell House Captain. Emma plans to study Occupational Therapy at University.

Erica studied Year 11 at Waikerie High School in 2016. During the year, she undertook Certificate 3 in Business as a VET course whilst maintaining a tertiary study pathway. Erica has been described as mature beyond her years, and applies herself well to all activities that she undertakes. On completion of her SACE, Erica intends to go to University to study Law and Justice.

Chloe studied Year 11 at Loxton High School in 2016. She undertook Certificates 3 in Media and Certificate 4 in Music Business as VET courses. Chloe has had some great achievements with her music writing and performing, and has her future firmly planned.
