Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Madison is employed at the Barmera Hotel and is completing Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. He has a passion for cooking and shows talent and ability in the industry. On completing his apprenticeship, Madison intends to continue vocational training with a business qualification to further his career in the industry he loves.

Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
Jakob is an apprentice fitter and turner at TWG Loxton. He values the opportunity his training provides, and plans to continue vocational training with dual trade as a fitter and welder in the future. Jakob aspires to become a supervisor at TWG, and support new apprentices into the future.

Briley is employed by Ben’s Constructions and enrolled in Certificate III in Carpentry. He values learning and self-growth, as well as the hands-on training his apprenticeship has provided. Briley intends to continue his training pathway with a business course once his apprenticeship has been completed.

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Bianca has completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and is employed at Loxton District Children’s Centre. Her traineeship allowed Bianca to work directly with children, applying the knowledge gained throughout her studies. Her traineeship also offers a pathway to further study, and Bianca is now undertaking a Bachelor of Psychology to further her career.

Breeann completed a Business traineeship at the Chaffey Electoral Office. Her traineeship has allowed her to gain valuable workplace skills and knowledge prior to commencing university. Breeann values the experience and insights gained through her traineeship.

Kimberley secured a school-based apprenticeship with Silk Salon in 2020 allowing her to undertake a Cert III in Hairdressing. Kimberley, in her first year, was one of three apprentices from SA accepted into a mentoring program with Goldwell. Kimberley values the time spent with her clients building their trust.

Monty’s completion of Cert II in Doorways 2 Construction in 2020 helped him secure an apprenticeship with Lec Logix, in Loxton. The school VET course enabled him to learn many general trade techniques. Monty enjoys the river life, and he encourages young tradies to stay in the Riverland as they are greatly needed.
